Mosquitos

Effective pest control to stop you swatting

The pest that is a major nuisance across the world and one that spreads diseases such as Dengue, Malaria, Chikungunya and Zika. Mosquito bites itch, while the constant buzzing around the person that they are trying to feed upon makes it impossible to work or relax. Mosquitos also multiply very quickly, as they can lay close to 100 eggs at a time, which results in the large swarms around your property. Pestex uses innovative techniques such as the In2Care Mosquito Trap to attract and kill mosquitos, in an environmentally friendly manner.

Mosquito Prevention Tips

Tip 1

Eliminate still or standing water near the property. Remove items such as containers, empty plant pots, buckets, tyres, also make sure that drains are not blocked.

Keep grass and bush low. Regular trimming will reduce the sheltered areas that all mosquitos seek.

Install window and door screens to prevent them entering the property.

Use an electric fan. Mosquitos are very weak flyers, so a fan can prevent them reaching to you.

Regular inspections and treatments from Pestex will reduce your mosquito issues, together with reducing the risks of the diseases that they carry. Call us today for a free inspection!
