It’s December 1999, the world is getting ready to welcome a new millennium, while we started a company that would also be a welcome change to the T&T landscape, where professionalism, care and expertise would be paramount, but most of all we would deliver service.

It was our first promise to customers “Because Service Matters”; it did not matter what the nature of our business was, this was the cornerstone from which we built the company. Pest control was the type of business, ‘Pestex’ was the name. We understood that this was a crucial service that we provided, that families relied upon us to deliver comfort, that businesses needed to have utmost confidence in our ability to eradicate pests and that entities such as medical and shipping, required us to match their high (and compulsory) standards.

I am proud to say – in 2025 – that Pestex has achieved its goals of providing quality pest control at affordable prices, while expanding its services to incorporate all aspects of the business. Having a large number of repeat customers is the confirmation that we have been successful in making and keeping properties across the country pest-free. There is no secret, we have simply remained true to our core values and have never rested on our laurels. It’s the reason that research, development and training are key components of our company, not just to keep pace, but surpass expectations as we incorporate new developments in the global industry.

It takes passion and hard work to build a solid reputation and equally hard work to maintain it. The Pestex team buy into this ethos every day because they know that we share these same attributes with our customers and our service is part of their own journey, whether that’s protecting a family or growing a business. Those white & blue Pestex vans driving across T&T are delivering assurance of quality, confidence and perhaps most importantly, peace of mind. Twenty-five years later, those three words of our slogan have not changed. Why would they, when they encapsulate everything that we do?
